Trust the Process
TrustRescue's adoption process offers two convenient paths:
Option 1: General Registration
Register with us in advance, without specifying a particular pup. Your registration remains valid for six months, allowing you to quickly express interest when you find a dog you'd like to meet.
Option 2: Application for a Specific Dog
If you've fallen in love with a particular dog or puppy, you can submit an application directly for that pet.
We do recommend registering as soon as possible, even before finding 'the one'.
Step 1: Review
Review our FAQs! Many questions you may have will be answered within the answers. Contact us if you have specific questions about our process.
Step 2: Submit
Submit the initial Application. Most registrants receive an email from us with next steps in 2-3 days.
Applying places you in the Applicant pool for that dog.
Be sure to check you spam/junk folders and be patient with us!
Step 3:
Hear Back
Once your adoption application has been reviewed you will be contacted by an Adoption Counselor who may schedule a meet with a dog you have selected from our website.
Step 4:
Choose your Path
At this point, you have numerous options available.
A) Locking in a meet with a dog arriving on transport.
B) Locking in a meet and Greet with a dog in foster here in NJ
C) Simply showing up at our weekly Adoption Events
Adoption Fee
In an effort to make adopting Easy and Affordable, all our beautiful Trust Rescue Fidos are now a low $350.00 or less.

** Heartworm Positive Dogs- Trust Rescue treats HW positive dogs prior to adoption. If your dog (4 months or older) breaks with heartworm after 4 months post the recorded negative 4DX test conducted by Trust Rescue, Trust Rescue will not be responsible.
